SusanHappy New Year and may 2015 bring you all closer to turning your vision for your lives and careers into reality.

We have a wonderful blend of returning board members and new members who each possess unique talents and strengths that will facilitate both setting and achieving the organizations’ goals. We have a Board retreat scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2015 to review our current Vision and Mission and the 5 key initiatives we targeted for 2014 along with setting the areas of focus for 2015. As you know, at each monthly meeting we ask your input on the following: “Strengths & Areas for Development in SDPCA meetings? How might we improve chapter meetings? What do you enjoy about chapter meetings? Do you have suggestions for other speakers/topics?”. Your input is important to us and we want to make sure we are providing you with what you are seeking as a member of the San Diego Professional Coaches Alliance.

As your new President I am excited about the year ahead and working with your new SDPCA board. The 2015 Board consists of the following individuals:

SDPCA Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meetings are the second Monday of every month at The Sheraton Four Points, 8110 Aero Drive, San Diego 92123 (858-277-8888). Meeting registration and networking take place from 9:30 – 10:00 am.   Our meeting and guest speaker run between  10:00 am – noon.  Check out this month’s Guest Speaker below!

After each meeting at 12:15 PM, you can join Coaches in Action.  This sub-group meets with an experienced coach to do some “rapid recall” of what you learned and how you can apply it in your coaching practice. Sometimes the speaker will join you as well. It’s a great opportunity to ingrain your learning and get to know your colleagues on a deeper level. These sessions usually lasts about an hour,  depending on the interest and conversation. It is not only useful, but fun! Feel free to bring your own lunch or grab something from the coffee bar in the lobby if you want.

All meetings are free to members, except for those seeking CEU credits. SDPCA members seeking CEU credits will be charged the member rate processing fee of $10. While pre-registration is not required, all members and guests must sign in and wear their badges at the meeting to gain entrance.  Guests are always welcome. First-time guests attend for free unless CEU credits are desired.  In that case the first-time guest will be charged a processing fee for the CEU credit at the non-member rate of $15. Meeting costs for returning non-member guests are $25 (cash, check, or credit card) per meeting, plus $15 if CEU credit is desired.  If you decide to join the day of your first paid meeting, the $25 meeting fee will be applied to your yearly membership if paid in full on that day.

EFFECTIVE October 2014: The fee for obtaining CEU credits has been reduced to $10 for members and to $15 for non-members.
